About

Hi, my name is Edith! Whether you’re new to this space or are looking to reestablish a supportive therapeutic connection, my hope is to partner with you along this journey by providing a welcoming, nurturing, and judgment-free space to work on your mental health goals and wellbeing. Life happens to all of us and along our journeys, we may run into unexpected life events that challenge us in various ways. This can feel overwhelming, shocking, and we may be left feeling confused, anxious, or derailed off our life path. That’s normal and you’re not alone in this experience. If you’re ready to take a closer look at your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, you’re in the right place. Together we can work towards strengthening your sense of empowerment, self-compassion, self-awareness, and mindfulness by adding to your coping skills toolbox one step at a time. My background includes in-patient and out-patient medical and psychiatric settings, providing emotional and mental health support to people coping with various acute and chronic physical and mental health conditions. I’ve fostered a therapeutic alliance with people facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, self-esteem concerns, challenging family dynamics, grief, bereavement, relationship challenges, cancer and other chronic or terminal illness, and trauma. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples, using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, insight-oriented therapy, problem-solving therapy (PST), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and more. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you a little better, and establishing a therapeutic connection.
